Our Projects

Ramadan 2022

We have tried our best to stand by the side of the underprivileged people during our Ramadan project, like every time. This year in Ramadan, we have distributed daily 300 packs for Iftar and 300 packs for Sehri. Throughout the month, we have delivered good food to about 18,000 people. Before Eid day, we have distributed Eid food pack among 300 families. As an Eid gift, 500 sarees and 500 Punjabis have been distributed among the poor and helpless old and disabled men and women. Besides, we have delivered Zakat money 2,000 BDT each to the 300 poor people. Alhamdulillah we have been able to create smile on the face of some helpless people through your support.

Qurbani 2021

This year corona crisis is worse than the last year. In this worse situation we all are suffering. But the poor and helpless people are facing a crucial situation. Due to this situation many people in or out of the country who used to perform Qurbani are not able to do so this time. As a result, the one-third part of the Qurbani that the poor and helpless people would get will be less this time. Some of them used to run their family by selling the leather they got, but this time it will be less.
So, we took an initiative for the benefit of those who are not able to perform Qurbani directly and provide food for the low-income people as like as last year. We sacrificed 3 cows and 15 goats at the different regions in Jhenaidah and Rajbari districts on behalf of our donors and we distributed that meat among the 1,500 poor & helpless families.

Ramadan 2021

Every Ramadan we try to spread love to the helpless people in our country through our Ramadan project. This year we distributed 3050 iftari packs, 1000 seheri packs, 3800 cooked foods, 450 food packs and 250 fruit packs to the helpless people in our country. We served total 5150 beneficiaries in different categories. We helped 200 transgenders, 300 rickshaw pullers, 550 street children, 550 helpless old people, 800 homeless people and 1280 families. We also distributed our zakat fund among 650 helpless people. Alhamdulillah we have been able to create smile on the face of some helpless people through your support.

Penny For Many School

Penny For many provides free education/academic coaching to the underprivileged and poor children. Those children who do not get the chance to continue their study from their childhood. As a result, they dropped out before finishing the primary level. Whenever a child loses his/her right to education, nourishment and other necessary privileges, the nation also loses its potential to grow. Parents who cannot fulfill the basic needs of families make their young children work on the streets, shops and even in houses. The bright future of them shatters this way. They have to face a lot all over the day, which gives a negative impact on their personality psychologically. So we took an initiative to provide educational and other necessary privileges to the underprivileged children.

Penny For Many has started the journey of “Penny For Many School” at Mirpur-11 on December 12, 2019 with willpower to ensure the basic education to the underprivileged children. Gradually now we have a total of 200 students. Basically, our students are from those poor houses of the nearest Bihari camp, whose parents work for a very low income, such as driving a rickshaw or working in someone’s house.

Facilities for students-

  • Full Free Quality Education
  • Free School Uniform
  • Free Books, Notes and stationeries
  • Daily nutritious food
  • Yearly Sports
  • Free Medical Health Checkup and Free Medicine
  • Livelihood Projects for Students Parents

We have a total 6 qualified teachers per subject and other members for ensuring the proper care of our students.

Penny For Many Madrasa

“Penny For Many Madrasa” is a sustainable initiative of “Penny For Many” which has been inaugurated at Kalshi, in 2019 and has been operating since. Ensuring quality education has been a major priority for the “Penny For Many” foundation and thus with the introduction of this Madrasa, the students will be able to get to grips with very high illiteracy situations.

“Penny For Many” takes complete responsibility of all the cost of running the madrasa, thus providing full free quality education along with educational materials for the poor underprivileged and also for a good number of orphans all with a hope of bringing out these impoverished children so that they can recognise themselves as global citizen.”Penny For Many Madrasa” currently has a total of 200 students including the orphanages and 6 teachers with other members. Along with quality education, the Madrasa also offers medical health checkups as well free medicine and also provides the childrens with nutritious food on a regular basis. The moral thing is we ensure all the basic needs of a child including shelter, food, education, cloth, etc.

Livelihood Project

Via livelihood projects “Penny For Many” helps people to improve their quality of life so that he does not have to take any other help later but he can stand on his own feet and help others. This project involves raising money or products and using it to create an income generating source for the destitute families. We give the breadwinner of the destitute families, a chance to become an entrepreneur and thus improve their own living standards.

For example, a boy’s father died when he was very young, so his family, including his mother, was in great trouble because he was the only income sorcerer in the family. So “Penny For Many” bought the boy a van so he could drive it to cover his family’s expenses. Another example, a poor woman’s husband dies suddenly, leaving her with her baby in great distress. So “Penny For Many” bought her a sewing machine in which she could make a living and be self-sufficient with her baby.

The sole motive of this project is to help the families to such an extent that they won’t be needing help again rather they will be capable of providing help for other poorer families.

Food Pack Gift Dhaka

PFM distributed 200 packages to the feckless people. As covid-19 situation has made everything worse than ever. At present their lives are being spent half-starved or starving. Penny For Many delivered food ration for 1 month to 200 families of day laborers of different professions in Dhaka area who were living such a helpless and miserable life. They were so glad to have the packages in their hand.

Food Pack Gift Outside

PFM performed a great distribution among the 300 villagers to help them with food and other relief goods. To help the helpless people in this situation, we went to an unknown village in Rajbari district, far from Dhaka. Due to lockdown the whole system is being paralyzed. It is specially hampering the common people who are not being able to work frequently as before. So their life has become miserable. To help them with some grocery goods we appeared at a village. We are happy that we could settle their needs.

Iftar Distribution

PFM distributed iftar packets among 300 starving helpless people in the holy month of Ramadan 2020. Many people break their fast by drinking water only. We gave away iftar packets to those poor starving people. So at least they can break their fast by eating proper iftar.

Cooked Food Distribution

PFM started its first activity by distributing 200 food packages among street people at various locations in Dhaka. We go out on the streets with two hundred packets of food in search of real needy people. Then we find some people on the streets looking for food or working for food. After reaching the people who actually are helpless, unemployed or poorly employed, those who can’t manage food for not even one time in a day. We tried to provide them with a meal which made them very much delighted.

Feed The Orphans

PFM distributed food to 100 orphans at “Rahmate Alam Mission Orphanage” in the Farmgate area of Dhaka. This orphanage provides food, shelter & education free of cost. To help those innocent orphans we intended to provide food for 1 month. So that they can have a good meal. In order to that we have distributed food items to 100 orphans at “Rahmate Alam Islam Mission Orphanage”.

Qurbani 2020

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic our foundation has done some projects for those who don’t have the situation to survive the condition. Due to this situation many people in or out of the country who used to perform Qurbani are not able to do so this time. As a result, the one-third part of the Qurbani that the poor and helpless people would get will be less this time. Some of them used to run their family by selling the leather they got, but this time it will be less.

So, we took an initiative for the benefit of those who are not able to perform Qurbani directly and provide food for the low-income people. We sacrificed 1 cow and 14 goats for them on behalf of our donors and we distributed that meat in many places.

Corona Crisis

Awareness among the people of the village is naturally a little lower than the urban people. Urban people normally maintain the lockdown in this pandemic. But village people do not maintain this. Social distance, cleanliness, sense of security are beyond the comprehension of many of them. They do not know something properly. On Eid, many people have come from Dhaka to their village homes to celebrate Eid with their families. As a result, the presence of extra people has happened in all the villages.

Penny For Many has taken a slightly different initiative to raise awareness among these people in the village. Disinfection drugs are sprayed in various crowded places of different villages such as markets, roads, near houses where people travel a lot.

This medicine is also sprayed in and around the mosque so that the worshipers can perform the Eid prayers safely in the mosque. In addition, masks are distributed to raise awareness among the people and various awareness counseling is provided.

Winter Cloth Distribution 2019

In 2019 we distributed 2000 blankets among the people of the northern part-Dinajpur,Kurigram,Panchagarh.Thakurgaon,Gaibandha and Nilphamari etc who suffer most in the winter season because temperature decreases most in these parts of Bangladesh.
